Kate received her coaching certification from The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and is a member of the International Coach Federation. Kate received her certificate in Alcohol & Drug Counseling from Villanova University and her certification as a Recovery Specialist from the Pennsylvania Certification Board. Kate left a 34-year career with a major pharmaceutical company to pursue her life’s passion of helping others be successful in life. She opened The Brightening Center in October, 2016 with the goal of providing integrated services in a safe and warm environment.
Sharon Stewart MSW, LCSW, CAADC
Substance Use & Co-occurring Disorder Treatment
Sharon received her BSW from Temple University and her MSW from Widener University. Passionate about working with others where social work helps those with addiction and co-occurring disorders, Sharon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Since beginning her career in 2004, Sharon has devoted herself to helping individuals and families break the destructive patterns, which the disease of addiction creates, and feels privileged to help others empower themselves to create change and enjoy productive meaningful lives. She identifies the guiding principle of her practice as the insistence that recovery is always possible, no matter what. Sharon is in-network with several major insurance carriers, including Cigna and United Behavioral Health.
Jill Crawford LCSW
Child, Adolescent & Family Counseling
Jill received her B.A. in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University and her MSW from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. She has dedicated her career to working with young people, and has extensive experience in the field of child and adolescent mental health. Jill began her private practice in 2004. Additionally, she is a longtime facilitator of the Girls Leadership program, which serves middle school-aged girls throughout the region, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Widener University's Center for Social Work Education. Jill believes that working with young people and their families is a true privilege, and is inspired on a daily basis by the courage and resilience her clients bring to treatment, as well as their willingness to embrace change.

Mary received her certificate in Alcohol & Drug Counseling from Villanova University and is certified by the Pennsylvania Certification Board as a Recovery Specialist. Mary has experience in Human Resources in both corporate and consulting environments. Mary believes that family education, support and hope is essential to families living with the disease of addiction.
